Working Out Which Group You Will Ski In
Once we have an idea of your ski level, fitness, the speed you like to ski at and the slopes you like to tackle we can work out the groups for the week. Depending on the week we run between 1 - 8 groups. For the first session we divide everyone into groups based on either the information you have provided us with or by our recollection of your ability level from the previous time you skied with us. We will often move people around for the second session onwards in order to make sure groups are compatible.

Booking Conditions

When 'We' Re-arrange Groups
During the week we will often re-arrange groups to ensure the i-Skiing is suited to everyone’s level of ability, experience, fitness,
aspirations and to maintain safety standards.

If 'You' Would Like To Move Groups
There is normally flexibility to move between groups if you would like to ski faster and tackle more demanding slopes or vice versa. If however, changing groups means going above our maximum number per group we will not be able to arrange this. All our trainers are skilled at developing performance within each group to cater for variations in levels of ability.

Skiing With Friends / Relations
If you are with partners and/or friends who are a different skiing level you may find that the times of your i-Skiing sessions are different to theirs. We try to alternate groups so that you can ski at similar times at some point during the week however we cannot guarantee it.

Booking Conditions

Responsibility and the FIS Code of Conduct
Skiing involves an element of risk which all participants must accept as inherent to the sport. Each skier must take responsibility over their own actions and decisions when skiing on the mountain either by themselves or within a Snoworks group. Every skier must ski in accordance with the FIS skiers code of conduct.
See FIS code of Conduct

Weather
Occasionally due to extreme weather conditions all the ski
lifts in the resort may be closed. If we are unable to run our on-snow training we will supplement this with other off-snow
activities equivalent in time to the on-snow course you have booked. We cannot give refunds for any on-snow time missed due to lift closure. Check your insurance policy as it may cover you for piste closure.

Booking Conditions

Snow Conditions
If in extreme situations there is a lack of snow in the resort and
we need to travel to other nearby resorts with superior conditions, the costs of travelling to and from these resorts will need to be paid by each client.

Refunds
No refunds for missing course time can be given. In the advent of Snoworks being unable to deliver the course as promised in the Booking Conditions, website and literature (for example due to staff illness or injury) we will refund on a pro rata basis any time missed or transfer missed time to a future course.

Insurance
Please make sure you have adequate insurance cover for the course you have booked on. We recommend that whatever course you have booked onto your insurance covers you for off-piste skiing. You may need special insurance for Race Training. If booking an Adventure week and you plan to do other activities as per each itinerary please check that your insurance company covers you for these activities.

Most insurance companies cover off-piste skiing althouogh some only when accompanied by a qualified instructor or mountainguide. We recommend that your insurance covers you for off piste skiing when skiing unaccompanied by an instructor or guide.

Booking Conditions

Booking a Package

You can book a package which includes flights, transfers and accommodation with our ABTA bonded Booking Agents. When booking a package you will be agreeing to either the Tour Operator's Booking Conditions the package is booked with or Wickers World's Booking Conditions.

Most of our packages are booked with major UK tour operators and when booking one of these packages you will be agreeing to their booking conditions. In some cases like our Adventure trips and some other courses Wickers World package the trip themselves and you will therefore be agreeing to their booking conditions.

Booking i-Skiing with no Transfer Package
When booking for spring, summer, autumn and some winter courses, packages do not include travel to and from the UK. You can book your own flights to coincide with the transfer from the continental airport to the resort. Transfer details are on the website.

There will be no-one to 'meet you' as soon as you arrive at the continental airport. A meeting time and place will be arranged at the airport prior to your departure. Full details can be seen via the link on the 'i-Skiing Planner'. The transfer will need to leave at the time advertised. The responsibility to be at the meeting place at the time advertised rests solely with each individual. If you miss the transfer due to flight delay you may have to make your way to the resort by other means and extra costs will need to be met by either yourself or your insurance company.

Coming By Yourself
Many of our clients come by themselves. It's a great holiday, you'll meet lots of people and have lots of people to ski with the same standard as yourself. In fact many clients now holiday regularly with other skiers they have met on Snoworks courses.

We can slot you in as a 'share' and find someone to share accommodation with. Single supplements can be expensive and coming as a 'share ' means no single supplement. Alternatively we can quote you a single room fee if you prefer.

Accommodation
When we select a package we aim to select comfortable accommodation, rooms with private facilities, good service and good cuisine. The accommodation is not 'basic' and not 'luxurious'. Please make sure the standard of accommodation that we offer is suitable.

Detailed information on the accommodation can be obtained from either the website or the brochure of the tour operator your package is being booked with. Please call our booking office on 08701 225549 and ask for details to be sent through.

What's included in the package price
Depending on the course the package can vary. Please look at the planner carefully before booking a package.

The packages for Summer and Autumn courses in Europe generally only include accommodation; flights and transfers can be booked separately. Accommodation in North America does not normally include meals.
Some of the Adventure trips include full board and all ski passes.

Noise - Ear Plugs
Ski resorts can be noisy places. Late night apres ski, early morning snow ploughs. Room mates who snore!! We recommend that you always travel with some earplugs. It can make all the difference to a good nights sleep and a good days skiing.
